Digital Forensics (4N6) – Copyright Transfer & Author Declaration Form

To maintain consistency and legal compliance across all publications, this Copyright Form must accompany every manuscript submitted to Digital Forensics (4N6). No alternative forms or modifications to this document will be accepted.

This agreement applies to all original content submitted for publication in Digital Forensics (4N6), including written articles, research papers, images, graphics, tables, audio/video material, and any supplementary content associated with the submission.

Copyright Transfer Agreement

The undersigned author(s) hereby assign to Digital Forensics (4N6) all copyright ownership and publication rights related to the submitted work, including any revised, expanded, or derivative versions submitted for publication.

This transfer includes all associated written materials, illustrations, figures, tables, audio/video content, presentations, and supplementary enhancements accompanying the manuscript.

The author(s) confirm that:

✔ The submitted work is original.
✔ The work has not been previously published elsewhere.
✔ The work is not under consideration by another publication or journal.
✔ Necessary permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material used within the manuscript.
✔ The submission does not infringe upon any copyright, intellectual property, or legal rights of third parties.

Author Responsibilities

Digital Forensics (4N6) distributes technical and research publications globally to researchers, professionals, organizations, institutions, and law enforcement communities.

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring:

  • The originality and authenticity of the submitted work.
  • Proper attribution and referencing of third-party content.
  • Compliance with legal, ethical, and professional publishing standards.
  • Obtaining required approvals or permissions from organizations, employers, or third parties where applicable.

The responsibility for content accuracy and publication permissions rests solely with the author(s), not with Digital Forensics (4N6).

 

Retained Rights & Terms

Authors and employers retain proprietary rights related to any process, methodology, procedure, product, or technology described within the work.

Authors may:

✔ Use the published work for personal, academic, or organizational purposes.
✔ Share limited copies for educational or professional use with proper credit to Digital Forensics (4N6).
✔ Reuse portions of the work in future research or professional activities with appropriate acknowledgment.

However:

  • The work may not be reproduced for commercial sale without written permission.
  • Third-party republication or redistribution requires prior approval from Digital Forensics (4N6).
  • Use of the publication in any misleading promotional activity is strictly prohibited.

 

Copyright Ownership Policy

It is the official policy of Digital Forensics (4N6) to hold copyright ownership of all published material in order to:

Employer Authorization

If the manuscript was prepared within the scope of employment, the author confirms that they are authorized by their employer or organization to sign this agreement and transfer publication rights.

If required, an authorized representative of the employer may sign this form on behalf of the organization.

 

Reprint & Republication Policy

Any request for reprinting, republication, redistribution, translation, or reuse of published material must receive prior written approval from Digital Forensics (4N6) and, where applicable, the corresponding author.

 

Plagiarism & Ethical Compliance

Digital Forensics (4N6) follows strict plagiarism detection and ethical publishing standards.

Any submission found to contain plagiarism, falsified information, unauthorized content, or copyright violations may be rejected or removed from publication without notice.

 

General Terms & Conditions

The undersigned author(s) confirm that:

✔ They have the authority to enter into this agreement.
✔ All information provided is accurate and complete.
✔ The submission complies with applicable copyright and publication laws.
✔ They agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digital Forensics (4N6) from any legal claims arising from breach of this agreement.

If the manuscript is withdrawn prior to publication, this copyright transfer agreement shall automatically become null and void.

For jointly authored submissions, all authors must sign this form or authorize one representative author to sign on behalf of all contributors.
